Here in western PA, the amount of times that we get an actual glowing golden hour, are few. I wish it would happen more often and I will cherish the days that it actually occurs.
Sierra and Will got so lucky with one of the most beautiful evenings of the year! We met at Cedar Creek Gorge for their engagement photos. The leaves were all showing off their brilliance as the peak of autumn was reaching its end.
I can always tell when a session is going to go extremely well. They both told me they were extremely nervous about having their photos taken, and Will was actually dreading the experience. But I could immediately see their love for each other ran deep. Trust me! That’s all you need to make your engagement photos go well.
Sierra and Will met in college and they’ve been inseparable ever since. They enjoy the simple life whilte adventuring together: going on hikes, kayaking, and being in the great outdoors. That made Cedar Creek Gorge the perfect place for their photos. While they had never been there before, they remarked several times during their engagement session that they needed to come back to kayak! Talk about people after my own heart. Haha.
The sun was glowing through the trees and all through the gorge as we walked around, enjoying the different scenery. It was truly a perfect engagement session. When we were finished, Will thanked me for making it a much better experience than he was anticipating. And with that, I smiled, and my heart leaped for joy. It is always my desire to make my clients completely comfortable during their sessions. Plus, just look at these two. They’re naturals in front of the camera!
