I could’ve done without the snowstorm we had on Friday morning. It’s treachery was amplified by the fact that I had to be in Monroeville for my baby appointments at 8am! It was an exciting drive of slipping, sliding, and praying no one around me was driving like a maniac. Of course, there was that one person…
Anyways, the aftermath of the snow was beautiful! I wish I would have been able to get outside and take some photos of the trees afterwards, but my super pregnant hips said “No!”
It reminded me so much of this day in February last year! Waiting until February for snow is becoming a common occurrence in these parts of Pittsburgh. The grey and dreary days we have here in the winter are quite disheartening without snow!
It seems unlikely that it’ll snow again this season, but at least I can look back at photos from previous years and see how wonderful the rare days of snow really are.
I had a blast capturing this (other) Jalosky family. They thought about waiting until it was warmer out, but I love that they decided to take the leap and have their family photos taken in the winter! It was so much fun! Their boys couldn’t stop laughing! I loved it.
Enjoy their snowy family session!
