Every day, I find myself wanting to sing “It’s a small world after all!” The story of how I met Jess and how I met Brian is kind of funny.
I worked with Jess’s dad for 3 years at my Dad’s heating and air conditioning business. I always heard stories about Jess and her brother and sister, and they seemed to be a family similar to mine. They all have a great sense of humor and have a deep love for family.
When I was first starting out my photography business, her parents asked me to take her senior photos. And that is when we met for the first time!
I met Brian at church one Sunday. He was a friend of a friend, and we were introduced. He seemed like a really nice guy from a really good family.
I had no idea that Jess & Brian even knew each other, until one day on Facebook they had a relationship status change! Turns out they worked together at Wendy’s. Their relationship began over frosty’s and fries. As far as I’m concerned, a frosty can and will always result in true love.
From then on, they were always together. They came to church together and I got to see their love for each other grow.
I photographed one of Jess’s lacrosse games at Hempfield High School and Brian came and brought her flowers at the end, even though they lost. I could see just how much he was in love with her.
It was no surprise when they got engaged. They went on a walk through the woods and he decided to pop the question. She said yes! 🙂
Brian is also Morgan & Amber’s brother (see the previous posts)!
See! It IS a small world after all!
I am so excited for their wedding in a few weeks! Surrounded by their friends and family…the love is amazing.
It made me giggle whenever they told me they wanted some photos with their baby, Cameron. They’ve already started their family right with a dog. 🙂
Jess & Brian, thank you for giving me the privilege of being your photographer for each step of your lives! I look forward to all God has in store for your future together!
