Oh my goodness. It’s fall y’all! Sadly, that means only two more trips to Deep Creek Lake this year for us. (insert my tears here)
I don’t know how many of you know this, but our lake house currently holds 28 people and 4 dogs. Here’s the super shocking part: we only have 2 bathrooms & 6 bedrooms. Granted, at least 2 of the kids sleep on a couch each week. I’m not telling you this so you think that we’re all absolutely insane. (Though I wouldn’t blame you if you did. haha) We all just believe that family is that important. And Deep Creek is our place.
So you’re probably thinking “What is this post about, Ellen? Get to the point!” Patience you must have, my young padawan.
This is Nate! He is the 4th of my 8 cousins on my dad’s side. I have taken all of their senior photos so far, and it was Nate’s turn to graduate this year. I took these photos back in May, on the first weekend that we were allowed to break quarantine and travel to Deep Creek for the weekend.
I missed time with family immensely in the first half of this year. So being back together with them for the first time made it one of my favorite days of this year.
Nate had his quarantine hair style going on. Though, he wasn’t sure if he was actually going to cut it when he had the opportunity. (Needless to say, he did get a haircut, and I’ll be taking some more photos of him soon!)
Nate works in the family HVAC business, along with his brothers, one sister, his dad, my dad, and my brother. He actually was one of the 3 to install my air conditioner earlier this year! Side note: It’s been soooooooo nice having air conditioning this summer! Don’t know how we would’ve survived this hot and dry summer without it. Other side note: My brother who graduated last year, snuck into a few of these photos.
Someone said Nate looks like a country music singer here. I’m inclined to agree with them and look forward to his first album release in the spring. 😉
Enjoy these senior photos taken at Deep Creek Lake!
