Colorful Autumn Couple Portraits – Bushy Run Photography

Autumn Couple Portraits

Autumn couple portraits? Count me in!

I look forward to photographing the Vargo’s every year for a couple of a reasons.

  1. I’ve photographed them more times than any other client. They’ve stayed with me since their engagement session 8 years ago!
  2. They’re some of the most genuine and kind people you’ll ever meet. And they’re so fun to be around!
  3. They always send me a Christmas card with their photos and this year, they had a Christmas Mickey with their photo inside.
  4. They’ve become good friends, even though most of our communications are reacting to Instagram stories. LOL I love them dearly.

Much like my family, Tayler & Brad also had a tough year. They own and operate several businesses, and Brad fell off a ladder and broke both of his arms this year! That caused them to have to shut down for a while. I know he was in tons of pain and Tayler had to help him do literally everything, at home and at work. I know it wasn’t easy and there were other things going on in their family that caused it to be a very difficult and stressful time.

But they pressed on. They loved each other and took care of each other well. They always joke that they need to go on a vacation, separately, because they are always together, but I know that if you took them away from each other, they’d probably not know what to do anymore! They work as a team with everything, including setting up their 12 Christmas trees every year. (That may be a slight exaggeration, but they have A LOT OF CHRISTMAS TREES! HAHA)

Since I’ve taken their photos so many times, coming up with a new location is challenging. Bushy Run was one of the last places on my list that they had never been to! And it was BEAUTIFUL this year! I photographed so many clients there this fall because the leaves were just stunning. Truly though, it’s a great place for photos any time of the year. And after this one, I might have to change my business name to Bushy Run Photography. 😉

Did you know that I make a scary excellent big dog impression? Sometimes, I have to pull out my deep voice to get dogs to look at me and it actually worked with their dogs! Haha. I’m pretty sure it scared all the other people at the park though. But it did make Tayler & Brad laugh a lot, so mission accomplished.

Enjoy the Vargo’s photos!
