It was a warm fall evening when Brad and Amanda drove into Pittsburgh for what she thought was a conference for work. They were going to meet some of their friends there, so they were excited.

They arrived early and decided to head over to mount Washington to take in the view and ride the incline. With shaking hands, Brad bought their tickets and they boarded the car. There were several other people in there with them, including one who had brought his guitar. They started moving and the guy started playing a nice melody.

They were happy, and truly in love. As Amanda was listening to him play, she realized that it was familiar, and then it clicked. It was “their song!” She looked over at Brad in surprise, and he began to tell her how he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

He pulled out a ring and asked her to marry him. To which she replied “Yes! But does this mean we aren’t going to the conference?” He laughed and said “There is no conference. How about dinner instead?” Brad had made reservations at one of the restaurants on mount Washington. It was the perfect night. <3

We decided to go to Mellon Park in Pittsburgh for their engagement session. It was an absolutely gorgeous day! The sun was shining and it was warm! And the trees still had pretty leaves on them!
