This Pitt Campus senior photo session was FIRE! Dezi just graduated from McKeesport High School at the top of her class and is heading to University of Pittsburgh in the fall.
I’ll borrow a few words from her dad, Dave (who’s wedding I photographed back in 2019!) to tell you about Dezi. “She’s super smart, gorgeous, and knows what she wants. She won’t put up with anything that doesn’t meet her standards and is all around the best kid in the world.” Some other words from her dad during our session while we were walking around Pittsburgh were, “I need Chipotle now or I’m going to die.” Dave and Richelle definitely brought their best jokes to get Dezi to laugh during her senior photo session! They worked really well on me too as I kept laughing so hard that I ended up in a coughing fit, since I unknowingly had bronchitis when I took these. Got to go to work to pay the bills, even when I’m sick. LOL Which has been basically all year so far for me! Hooray for allergies!
We planned these photos on a Saturday in April and were completely shocked when we arrived at campus to find out it was commencement day! There were hundreds of students around campus in cap and gown having their photos taken at all of the most popular spots. It was an adventure for sure! We did have to wait in a line twice to get photos in a spot that Dezi really wanted. After that, we used the other gorgeous spots around campus that no one was utilizing. There were some pretty trees still in bloom and the cathedral is always a great background!
I had such a great time with Dezi and I hope you enjoy her photos as much as I enjoyed taking them and hanging out with her and her parents. 🙂
