I’m so excited to share this Christmas wedding! Alyssa & Nathan celebrated their first anniversary in December. Their wedding was a gorgeous celebration, with so many people surrounding them in love. There were Christmas trees, mistletoe, and colors of cranberry and sparkly gold everywhere! Their ceremony and reception were held at The Christian Center in Belle Vernon, PA. I was there providing photography for their day.
Alyssa and Nathan are a very sweet couple. After years of her having a huge crush on him, Na finally got a clue and asked her out. If you know them, you know that it was 100% meant to be. One night, they had gone out to the house that Nathan was fixing up. It was the place his grandparents had lived, and he was in the process of remodeling. They were walking around the house, talking about their plans. When they reached the kitchen, which was in major disrepair, they stopped. The house was very well lived in. Surrounded by layers of dust and a few dead stink bugs, Nathan felt it was time. In the house where he had so many memories, he wanted to make a new one. He got down on one knee, and asked Alyssa to be his wife. He spent the next several months, completely rebuilding each room. He wasn’t sure if it would be finished come their wedding day. They had planned to go to the smokey mountains on their honeymoon. However, the week of the wedding arrived, and the house was completely finished! They decided to spend their honeymoon in their new home; just relaxing and enjoying it together. While I’ve never seen their home, I can only imagine how much love it holds for them.
