Every year since their wedding, we’ve gotten together in the fall to hang out and take some awesome photos for Tayler and Brad’s Christmas cards! They were married in the month of September, so it’s also an anniversary celebration for them!
We always have 2 goals for their session: find a pretty changing tree, and get their dog to look at the camera!
We try out a different photo location each year for them. This particular year was Mammoth Park! It’s a gorgeous park with a big lake and an island that you can get to by bridge! There was a wedding finishing up on the island when we arrived. It was so cool to see someone get married out there! They ended up leaving shortly after we began, and so we were able to access the island ourselves! We even used their gorgeous arbor for a few photos, because why not?
Tayler and Brad are pretty adventurous and always down for my crazy suggestions. Like when I asked them to climb up on top of an old stone bridge structure, with Tayler in high heels!
We found literally one tree in the entire park that had changed colors. ONE. I couldn’t believe it, but I’m so happy we did! Their dog, Nellie really likes to give me a run for my money, but she’s a real character as well! I just love the faces she makes. They love their dog so much that Brad literally came to the session wearing socks with her face all over them! It was absolutely hilarious and awesome!
It’s so fun to capture Tayler and Brad’s photos each year! To see this year’s preview of them, you can head on over to my facebook page!
Enjoy these fall family photos!
